9 things you should know about Teewe!

It has been an interesting few days to say the least. The sheer excitement and warmth all our customers have shown has been phenomenal to say the least. We are humbled by the tremendous response we are getting from the media and consumers alike, and this yet again reaffirms our firm belief in the idea that a good solid product just needs your love and word of mouth.

 It’s easy to miss out on the important stuff with so much happening. Whether you have pre-ordered or are still making your decision, we wanted to put together a list of things that you might have missed about Teewe.

#1 All Teewe needs is a display with an HDMI Input port and a WiFi router to function

We were hearing a lot of folks enquiring whether they need Smart T.V.’s to use Teewe. No you do not folks. A working internet connection over a Wi-Fi router and a display with an HDMI Input port is all that is required.

#2 I don’t see router X in your list, will my router work with Teewe

The list mentioned on our website is by no means an exhaustive one and is only meant to be an indication. Most of the routers being sold in India are verified and confirmed to be working with Teewe.

#3 Teewe is covered under a 1 year Warranty

A lot of us seem to be missing this one. Just in case for some reason, Teewe does not work or malfunctions, all you need to do is send us the faulty unit back and a new Teewe will be immediately shipped to you.

Which brings us to Customer Support

#4 Teewe comes with built-in remote support: Any software error or changes needed to be done on your Teewe can be handled remotely. All you need to do is click on the support button in the drawer menu on the app and call us. No more waiting around for service engineers to show up.

#5 Teewe needs a minimum of 2 Mbps Internet Speeds: We recommend a minimum internet speed of 2 Mbps for an optimum online video viewing experience. You can also toggle between HD and non-HD for online videos in case you feel that your internet speed is low.

#6 Teewe plays all your file formats with ease: Teewe has been extensively tested against all major file formats in video, music and pictures. We have been able to play raw footage shot from our cameras, High Resolution Prints of Movies and a wide variety of downloaded media. Rest assured Teewe plays majority of file formats such as

Video - TS, PS, AVI, FLV, 3GP, WMV, MOV, MP4, MKV
Audio - MP3, WMA, OGG, FLAC, APE, AAC, AMR
Images - JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG

#7 Teewe ships with a Wall Outlet Power Charger  Adapter: Teewe needs an uninterrupted power supply during operation and for this purpose it ships with a Wall Outlet Adapter. There are no rechargeable batteries or any other sort of battery mechanism within Teewe to be charged. You can also use a USB A to Micro USB Cable plugged into your Television’s USB port which supplies power. However, we recommend that you use the adapter supplied with Teewe.

#8 What if there is no space behind my television?: We understand the prized possessions that Televisions are and the often complicated ways in which we love to mount our televisions. To ensure that you can reach those tricky HDMI Ports behind your T.V., we bundled in an HDMI Extender Cable with Teewe.

#9 Media stored on your Phone/Tablet or computers does not consume internet : When you use Teewe to view files that are locally stored on your PC or smart-devices, no internet data is used. You can play your favorite stored content multiple times without worrying about internet bills or connection speeds!
